To provide free of charge legal information on many aspects of the law. UK lawyers are very expensive with average costs in the order of £200-£00 per hour plus vat. This is prohibitively expensive for most especially if you just want to know your rights or where you stand on a particular situation.
Our Vision
To see further deregulation of the UK legal industry so that non-regulated lawyers and legal advisers are encouraged to provide services directly to clients. Over half the work completed at your local law firm is likely to be conducted by those with no legal training. When we say work done – we mean work charged for.
Non Law
In addition to over half the work completed at your local law firm being conducted by non legally trained (non solicitors/barristers/legal executives) over 80% of all the work completed by law firms are whats called non-reserved activities – anyone can complete the jobs. A reserved activity can only be conducted by a recognised lawyer.
